Associate Artist

ISH develops longer-term contracts with a number of invited artists: we call these our Associate Artists. The selection of artists happens organically and is filled as needed.

Below are a number of possible trajectories at ISH:

Spending a longer period with ISH in an artistic-organizational capacity.
As a choreographer for a full-length performance.
With a two-year research and production trajectory offered by the New Makers Pathway initiative provided by the Performing Arts Fund, and with support from ISH.

Dietrich Pott

Dietrich Pott is currently affiliated with ISH as Associate Artists. Dietrich Pott has a long history as a dancer with ISH. In 2018, he co-directed ISH's Jungle Book in Suriname. He created a short performance for ISH Open Nights in 2021 and worked at ISH that year as artistic director/founder of Amsterdam Breaking Community. In 2022, he followed a two-year New Maker trajectory at ISH. From this he did a research project from which the performances Koujake and Kromanti were developed.

Denden Karadeniz

Also Denden Karadeniz known from TV (SYTCYCD), Elements of Freestyle, Junglebook) and founder of Zero Dance Theatre is connected as Associate Artist at ISH. With his new performance Home he is touring the Netherlands from April 3, 2025.
