Tyrone 'Tatsumaki' Menig

Is an explosive mover and tricker who is at home in various dance styles, such as breaking and various hip-hop styles. With Martial Arts Tricking, he defies gravity, which he combines with dance at a high level. This makes him the only performer in Dutch theatre who combines Martial Arts Tricking and dance in this way. His work moves at the intersection of dance, Martial Arts Tricking and visual storytelling. Since 2015, Tyrone has been dancing with ISH Dance Collective, with whom he has appeared in Narnia, GRIMM, Dorian, Knock-out and Rhythm & Flow, among others. At the same time, he is building his own creative world: as co-founder of 128 Dance Studios, he teaches K-pop and develops and directs his own film and video projects that combine dance, acting, stunt work and cinematography. Off stage, Harajuku fashion is not only a source of inspiration for him but also an important form of expression; he actively follows designers within the Japanese and Korean fashion scene and explores fashion as an artistic extension. In 2026, Tyrone will also appear in A Fine Mess.
