Micka Karlsson

Micka Karlsson is a Swedish-Dutch performer based in Amsterdam. Since 2003, she has been associated with ISH Dance Collective, where she has appeared in various productions, including Freestylish, 4-Ish (the Netherlands and a major US tour), Virtualish (US), Stormish, Hyperish (Broadway), This Is ISH, The Waste Land and GRIMM (first version and revival in 2026).

In addition, Micka is active as a performer with Bencha Theater. With Bencha, she mainly performs at events and festivals, both in the Netherlands and internationally. The group performs regularly in Asia and in various countries across Europe.

Micka works primarily as an aerialist and specialises in disciplines such as wall dance, aerial silks, hoop and other aerial apparatus. Her work often takes place in unusual locations, where she performs against tall buildings and in structures such as cranes.
