Mariam Potskhishvili

Mariam Potskhishvili (Georgia) began performing at the age of five with Metekhi, a dance company founded by her grandfather that specialises in traditional Georgian dances. At the same time, she developed an interest in classical ballet through her mother, who had trained in the discipline. Mariam was admitted to the Vakhtang Chabukiani State Ballet School in Tbilisi, graduating in 2023.

In 2023, Mariam won a gold medal and a scholarship at the Ballet Beyond Borders competition in Montana, United States, enabling her to continue her training with the Goh Ballet Youth Company in Vancouver, Canada.
