FAQs auditions
Read the frequently asked questions about auditions for a new co-production by Dutch National Ballet and ISH Dance Collective here.
-
The audition takes place on a single day and consists of several parts. You will participate in a group assignment with a combination of set material and a short composition assignment. In addition, you will prepare a solo of up to 2 minutes of your own choice of music. Choose a track that enhances your style and allows you to excel in your full range of movement and individuality.
During the audition day, an initial selection may be made after the group assignment before the solos take place. -
Your music can be plugged in via phone/laptop. It is wise to download the required music in advance so you are not dependent on any internet connection. We also ask that you send the music in advance to audities@ishdancecollective.com.
