In this unique dance performance, ISH leads you to the pioneers who literally and figuratively walked ‘out of step’ with their surroundings. James Brown and Sly and the Family Stone are perfect examples of these characters.
Still not convinced? Then we have the perfect travel companions who will soon convince you. Our beatboxing conductor, together with a cinematic DJ, a cellist and a pianist make up the musical motor of our Soultrain. Their rhythms provide the perfect fuel for dancers who, of course, are all specialists of the poppin’ and lockin’ you would expect to see in the funky seventies.
