ISH x MVJ Production Group
Do you want to develop yourself as a performer and gain stage experience? ISH Production Group is looking for young talents (12+) who want to work together with professional makers from ISH Dance Collective on original performances and perform at festivals and stages such as the Meervaart Jong Festival.
ISH × Meervaart Jong Production Group: dance, create and perform in Amsterdam
The ISH x MVJ Production Group is a program for young performers (12+) who want to develop their skills and gain stage experience.
Throughout the season, you will work together with a dedicated group and professional makers from ISH Dance Collective. You’ll develop within your own discipline, create original work, and work towards multiple performances.
The ISH x MVJ Production Group is a collaboration with Meervaart Jong and performs during the Meervaart Jong Festival and the ISH end-of-year festival, among others.

Practical Information – Upcoming Program
- Age: 12+
- Duration: 30 weeks
- Start of training: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
- Training day: Every Tuesday from 6:00 PM – 8:15 PM at Het Talentenhuis
- There will be no class on Tuesday 13 October 2026 (autumn), no classes during the Christmas holidays (3 weeks), and no classes during the spring holidays on Tuesday 23 February 2027 (2 weeks)
- Participation fee: €400 for 30 weeks, including two tickets for the Meervaart Jong Festival
- Discount available with Stadspas and the Sports & Culture Fund
*Payment plans are available. Thanks to the support of the ELJA Foundation, scholarships are available for participants who cannot afford the fee.
Meervaart and ISH: A Strong Collaboration
The collaboration between Meervaart Jong and ISH Dance Collective combines the best of both worlds. Through Meervaart, you receive personal guidance and structure, while ISH introduces you to its creative and boundary-pushing approach to performance and dance. Registration and communication are managed through ISH Academy, in consultation with Meervaart Jong.
Guidance from Experienced Teachers
Classes are taught by a permanent teacher from Meervaart Jong and guest teachers from ISH Academy. These professional dance teachers and performers bring their own experience and energy into the studio. They challenge you with inspiring exercises and assignments while helping you develop both your skills and creativity. Together, you’ll work towards an exciting performance that will be presented during the ISH Academy finale and the Meervaart Jong Festival 2027.
Each class lasts 1.5 hours and is always packed with energy and variety.
Location
Classes take place in the makers studio at Het Talentenhuis, Meer en Vaart 290, 1068 LE Amsterdam. The location is a 3-minute walk from Osdorpplein Oost tram stop and is easily accessible by bike, car, and public transport.
