We organize various class series for primary and secondary schoolchildren. Below is a list of our series. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities!

Hiphop dance styles (secondary students)

Youngsters are introduced to popping, locking, and breakdance. They are also taught about other aspects of hiphop culture, such as music and graffiti. We will work towards a small school presentation at the end of each series. The presentation can take the form of a live performance or a short film made by the students. Are there children who really don’t like to move? We will make sure that everyone can find a place in our project: perhaps in the role of filmmaker, scriptwriter, or assistant director.

Weekly classes, minimum of 8 weeks

Each one, teach one – philosophy (secondary students)

Each one, teach one, is inspired by hiphop philosophy. ISH proposes a class series of 8 weeks wherein an ISH subject teacher will undertake a process to find the individual power of each student. The group will work together on a production in the form of a performance, a film, or a presentation. Under the guidance of the subject teacher(s), each student can choose their own role. Those who have no ambition to dance are welcomed into the process by ISH and are offered the opportunity to find their own voice. They can assist in various roles, including writer, assistant director, choreographer, or set designer.

Creative movement (primary students)

Children are introduced to hiphop, breakdance, modern, and other dance styles. The subject teacher(s) from ISH will help each child find their own movement idiom. The group will work together on a presentation. This can be in the form of a short media presentation or a live performance.
