Vanildo Varela

Vanildo Varela is an emerging creator who, in recent years, has participated in many competitions and traveled around the world. He began dancing at the age of 20 at HipHopHuis in Rotterdam and later also became a producer. In this role, he organized events for street and club culture through his organization House Jam Rotterdam. Vanildo attended the House One Style program in Sweden, which specializes in house dance. During this training, he had the opportunity to explore the possibilities both within and beyond house dance. In 2022, Vanildo Varela collaborated with Lloyds Company and Dansateliers on One Night’s Dance, a program in which he created a solo as a maker. After this experience, he found his path as a creator and began collaborating with other experienced artists interested in club culture, such as Wesley Rommy, Chilton Galimo, and Wennah Wilkers. He is currently focused on creating productions that honor the club and street styles that form his foundation.
