Richard Schoonhoven

Richard Schoonhoven is production manager at ISH Dance Collective, where he is responsible for coordinating all organizational aspects surrounding the performance of the productions. His background is in music and art education: he obtained his first degree in Music and Art General Teacher, with two minors in Film and Theater Composition, at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle. After graduation, he completed the International Master Artist Educator at the ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem. With his boundless passion, he is convinced that everyone has more in them than they think or perhaps even dare to dream. As owner of Moonyard Productions and Journey Gospel Choir, Richard works as creative producer and artistic director on colorful choral productions such as Journey through Black Gospel (2016, 2019), DHLOMO (2023), Thula Nana (2022) and Real Stories (2017). He also teaches choral training, vocal coaching and is production director for Vocal Statements.
