Noor Jayani

Noor Jayani (23) is an allround performing artist, with dance as her primary form of expression. For her, dance feels like home a way to engage in an endless internal and external dialogue, through which she finds connection with herself as well as with others.

Her dance journey began with street styles such as HipHop and Popping. Later, she explored various academic styles, including ballet and contemporary, as well as other street and club styles, greatly enriching her understanding of dance. She holds a deep appreciation for learning from other people, places, and disciplines.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Dance in 2023, Noor appeared in productions such as Rhythm & Flow (ISH Dance Collective), Romeo & Julia (Het Nationale Theater x IRCompany), Next Steps (ISH x Dutch National Ballet), Past Present Zero (Zero Dance Theatre), and Home (ISH), and Opening Nights. Noor was born in the Netherlands and currently lives in Amsterdam.
