Jurre Hofman (Too Martian)
Jurre Hofman started producing electronic music at age 17 — growing up in a musical household in Assen — and it quickly turned into a passion. Under the name Bace Jay, and later teaming up with dj Lucky Bastard as Bace Bastards, he played nightclubs and festivals across the northern Netherlands.
After finishing high school, he studied Music Production at the Art & Entertainment college (now PACT) in Amsterdam, where he kept producing and DJ'ing alongside his studies — including for the Amsterdam night scene and group Hippe Types B — with gigs in clubs and at Lowlands. From 2016 he continued his education at HKU (Music and Technology), joining the collective From Paradise, with whom he released the worldwide hit 'Nightshow', among other singles.
After graduating, Jurre turned his full focus to developing his own sound. Under his main alias Too Martian he DJs and produces, and recently released a hybrid live show and the EP Closer.
Jurre has also composed music for several ISH productions, including Kromanti, Kaleidoscope (ISH Open Nights) and Burden (nominated for a music award), and contributed to ISH Academy productions through Young ISH and Junior ISH.
