Dionne Bakker

"I am a creative, I shapeshift on, around and behind the stage."
Dionne is company manager at ISH Dance Collective and a teacher at the ISH Academy. With a background as a dancer, she has a deep understanding of what performers need, making her a strong link between cast and crew. She has toured with productions such as Elements of Freestyle, Rhythm & Flow, Animatronics, and Hiphop Circus. Alongside her work at ISH, Dionne is part of the core team of the 5 O’Clock Class at the Academy of Theatre and Dance (ATD), where she supports the pre-program. She also works as a stage manager at the ATD, cueing performances and coordinating the technical and production phases. Dionne is curious, attuned to atmosphere, and values clarity, humor, and collaboration. She blends creativity with structure and instinctively senses what’s needed, always with care for the people on and behind the stage.
