FAQs auditions THOR

The audition consists of one round. A week before the audition day you will receive a creative assignment with an excerpt on which you have to prepare a solo. On the audition day itself you will not only perform this solo, but you will also be challenged to participate in a group choreography.

Your music can be plugged in via phone/laptop. It is wise to download the required music in advance so you are not dependent on any internet connection. We also ask that you send the music in advance to richard@ishdancecollective.com.

ISH Dance Collective rewards performers according to the CAO Theatre and Dance.

If you are not available on the dates indicated but would like to audition, please contact Richard Schoonhoven, production manager. We will see if there is another option for auditioning.

If you are not available on one of the rehearsal days (see below), please contact Richard Schoonhoven, production manager, for consultation.
If you are not available on one of the tour days, you do not have to audition. We unfortunately do not have understudies for the performance.

• April 21, 2025 - May 16, 2025 (rehearsals). 
• May 19, 2025 - May 26, 2025 (assembly and performance days).
• November 12 - November 25, 2025 (assembly & feature days).
• May 6, 2026 - May 25, 2026 (assembly & feature days)
