Vera van der Bie

You could describe Vera as a musical omnivore. Although trained as a classical violinist, curiosity led her to explore a variety of styles and instruments. She writes music for her electric string trio West Side Trio and het acoustic stringquartet Quartet Quinetique and tours the Dutch theatres with singer Flip Noorman. You will often hear her improvising, singing, and playing double bass, viola or musical saw during shows. She worked with numerous artists: arranging, writing and playing music for films, albums, commercials and live shows with solo-artists or bands as well as theatre- and dance-companies.
