Marilou Verschelden
Marilou grew up in a family of geologists in the forests of northern Quebec. Despite her upbringing, her interests were more in the arts and sports and she began synchronized swimming at a young age. Through this pursuit, she eventually discovered the circus arts and in 2015 she graduated from the National Circus School of Montreal. Marilou specialized as a German radartist, excelling in both trapeze and group acrobatics as a center and base. She has since toured the world with several renowned companies, including the 7 Fingers, Cirque Éloize, Cirkus Cirkör and Circus Monti. She is also a member of the new acrobatic company Copenhagen Collective. In her free time, Marilou fights Muay Thai and enjoys doing bicycle repair.
