Street footballers, freestyle football, and breakdance stars explode on the stage with dazzling footwork and impressive power moves. Accompanied by beats and soundscapes, eight performers show how to transport street smarts to the theatre.

In this 25-minute compilation, you experience how the three disciplines of street soccer, freestyle soccer and breaking interact with each other. The performers challenge each other and push their own limits. During the show, the players become one with the ball and make it dance along with their entire body. In a playful and poetic way, you experience the translation of their footwork into breaking, as the beauty of the disciplines come together.

Soccer and dance together on a stage? For Choreographer, artistic director and founder Marco Gerris, nothing is impossible. Gerris has been successfully finding his way off the beaten path for more than twenty years. Inspired by street culture, ISH brings hip-hop dance and urban sports to the theater. United by the realization that boundaries do not exist, ISH creates dance from elements you would not immediately label as dance. Freedom of movement arises when you let go of the frameworks: the connecting power of an open mind.
