Let's celebrate! ISH Dance Collective exists 25 years. We would like to celebrate that with you. On May 16 and 17 ISH will have a one-time spectacular anniversary weekend with all kinds of activities in de Meervaart. Whether you've been an ISH fanatic or dance lover for years or are getting acquainted with ISH for the first time: everyone is welcome. The weekend consists of an ISH Gala immediately compilation of various old and new performances, workshops of the ISH Academy, the battle event Masters of Movement, a roller disco & a club night more. Will you be there?
25 Years of ISH Dance Collective
Choreographer, artistic director and founder Marco Gerris has been successfully finding his way off the beaten path for twenty-five years. Inspired by street culture, he brings hip-hop dance,urban sports and circus to the theater. Together with the performers, he creates the performances, which often connect with traditional art forms such as ballet, theater and classical music. This creates freedom of movement when you let go of the frames: the connecting power of an open mind. Read more about the origins of ISH Dance Collective.
