Classes in our studio

Our studio program has activities for children and young people who love breaking, house, hiphop or street dance, or who just want to have fun dancing and moving. At ISH Academy, we teach not just skills, but we help you find and extend on your own creativity and talents­– that’s why we call it ‘creative movement’ classes. Come visit us!

Schedule

On 2 and 3 May 2023, you can meet ISH's teachers and offerings during an open house. On 9 and 10 May 2023, the classes will start. Experience is not necessary. The times are as follows:

• Tuesday: 12 - 18 year old | 19.00 - 21.00 walk in
• Wednesday: 6 - 12 year old | 16.00 - 18.00 walk in
• Wednesday: 16 + year old | 18.00 - 21.00 free training

Coaching

Teachers from the ISH Academy are available during the walk-in afternoons. The give assignments, create activities and help you develop your skills and creativity. Each month, the first part of the class focuses on a dance discipline. After a short break, a different, second discipline from a different teacher follows each week. At the end of the afternoon you are invited to present something – if you want.

Registration

You don't have to reserve or pay to participate, but one of your parents or carers should inscribe you at your first visit. Use the registration form on this page to register.

Location

ISH Academy can be found at Podium Lely, Schipluidenlaan 10. The location is three minutes walk from Station Lelylaan and can be easily accessed with the bike, the car and public transport (train, metro, bus, tram) Our building is shared with Circus Lab Amsterdam.
